Lift Off is a casual arcade rocket-launching game where the player controls and sends multi-stage rockets into orbit, aiming for the best altitude possible by timing stage separations flawlessly. As the rocket flies upward, you must detach each stage at the right time to boost speed so that it keeps moving higher and faster. Releasing a stage too early badly affects momentum, preventing the rocket from reaching orbit. Also, detaching it too late causes the rocket to explode, resulting in instant failure. Again, timing is everything in this game!

How to Play Lift Off

Playing Lift Off follows this core game loop: start the launch, detach stages, earn coins based on how high the rocket goes, and purchase upgrades to send the rocket farther into space. 

Perfect timing gives maximum thrust and altitude

Your detach timing determines the height your rocket can reach. Watch each stage carefully and time it right; tap/click as late as possible (but not too late) to detach it at the right moment and unleash the strongest thrust. Continue separating stages as the rocket climbs higher until there are none left.

Earn coins and upgrades

The higher your rocket goes, the more coins you earn. Use your earned coins to add extra stages to your rocket, enabling it to go farther and farther. You can also unlock new rocket skins and, more interestingly, send astronauts into space.

Colonize Mars and other planets 

You need at least 9 rocket stages and 50 people to land successfully on Mars to colonize it. You can even go further into space by building your rocket to go to Europa, which is a moon of Jupiter.
